Activities on the farm
There are numerous activities on the farm to suit all tastes and preferences. Between the vines and fruit trees there are many roads that are ideal for walks. You may just catch fruit harvest time, which will allow you to pick fresh peaches and apricots. There is a dam for paddling, fishing and swimming, but if dam swimming is not for you, take a swim in our 25m indoor heated swimming pool. We have walking trails over much of the 458 hectare area of the farm, many offering spectacular views of the farm, the Langeberg mountains, and the quaint village of McGregor. Our mountain bike routes feature single track and jeep track through unspoiled Karoo fynbos, with differing levels of difficulty. Both the Cape Epic, as well as The Ride2Nowhere, have traversed through the farm. There are also numerous other mountain biking routes in the nearby vicinity. Bird life is plentiful and is ideal for bird watchers who are sure to hear the call of the fish eagle. But if all you want to do is relax you will have no problem getting away from it all, and catching your breath.
Sempurna has a 25m enclosed and heated swimming pool. It is ideal not only for casual swimming but is perfect for serious training. Cecilia, who has over 30 years of swim coaching experience, and is a world masters’ record holder, is available to coach visitors who would like to improve their stroke or fitness. There is also a gym facility at the pool area.
