The farm is located within the McGregor Vrolijkheid Conservancy in the Klein Karoo, 1km from the historic village of McGregor, and 15km from Robertson. McGregor nestles in the foothills of the Riviersonderend Mountains. The village is well known for its historic buildings, thatched cottages and some lovely gardens. Sempurna itself is located on approximately 458 hectares of spectacular unspoiled Karoo Renosterbos. The farming operations are conducted on 34 hectares of cultivated fields. We farm 24 hectares of wine grapes, 5 hectares of apricots, 5 hectares of peaches. The McGregor Winery, which is next door to the farm, takes most of Sempurna’s grapes.
