Kecil Cottage is the original settler’s house dating back to the 1860’s, that has been completely and authentically restored. The cottage nestles in a lovely tranquil garden within the “werf” and is close to the 25m indoor swimming pool, which is heated in winter. It has a large lounge, kitchen/dining area with an open fireplace. The main bedroom has a king size bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, and underfloor heating. The cottage has a private courtyard with built-in braai. The courtyard leads to another separate bedroom with 2 single beds, with an en-suite bathroom with shower. You are welcome to book and use the farm’s “bush braai” located at an elevated position, overlooking the village of McGregor.

The private enclosed courtyard with a built in braai, separates the second bedroom from the main building of Kecil Cottage.
This bedroom has 2 single beds and bathroom facilities with a large shower.
The farm and accommodation is located in the Klein Karoo, 1km from the historic town of McGregor, and 15km from Robertson. McGregor nestles in the foothills of the Riviersonderend Mountains. The village is well known for its heritage buildings, thatched cottages and “the road to Nowhere”
