Kecil Cottage is the original settler’s house dating back to the 1860’s, that has been completely and authentically restored. The cottage nestles in a lovely tranquil garden within the “werf” and is close to the 25m indoor heated swimming pool. It has a large lounge, kitchen/dining area with a large open fireplace. The main bedroom has a double bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, and underfloor heating. The cottage has a private courtyard with built-in braai. The courtyard leads to another separate bedroom with 2 single beds, with an en-suite bathroom with shower. Guests have the option of renting the cottage with or without the bedroom off the courtyard. You are welcome to use the farm’s “bush braai” located at an elevated position, overlooking McGregor town. Just let us know in advance.

The private enclosed courtyard with a built in braai, separates the second bedroom from the main building of Kecil Cottage.
This bedroom has 2 single beds and bathroom facilities with a large shower.
The farm and accommodation is located in the Klein Karoo, 1km from the historic town of McGregor, and 15km from Robertson. McGregor nestles in the foothills of the Riviersonderend Mountains. The town is well known for its historic buildings and lovely gardens.
